Earlier in this upazila paddy / rice procurement activities were done manually. But at present paddy / rice purchase activities are going on through farmer's app. A farmer can apply for sale of paddy sitting at home. He sees the allocation order on his mobile phone. The price of paddy is paid in the bank account after delivery of paddy in the warehouse. This has alleviated the suffering of millers and ordinary farmers.
