Current Activities

In the internal Boro / 22 seasons, paddy is being procured directly from the farmers through the farmer's app at the rate of Tk 28 per kg. The target of the upazila is 1844 MT.
Inland Boro / Rice procurement activities are in progress from contracted millers at the rate of Rs. 40 per kg for 22 seasons. The target of the upazila is 2594 MT.

Every year in March, April, September, October and November, 30 kg of rice is being distributed to the enlisted poor at the rate of Tk 10 per kg through food-friendly program in this upazila;
